Description

Cross-Cultural Solutions is a non-profit organization that offers volunteer and internship opportunities. Staff members place volunteers with organizations that fit with their experience, personal skills, and the needs of the community.

Volunteer Placements

Placements are with community organizations. Examples of placements include:

  • Orphanages
  • Child care centers
  • Schools
  • Health clinics
  • Homes for the elderly
  • Centers for people with disabilities

Cross-Cultural Solutions International Internship & Volunteer Scholarship: University of Minnesota students are eligible for a $455 fellowship.

The fellowship is not need or merit-based. University of Minnesota students who apply through the Learning Abroad Center will receive the fellowship while funds last.

To apply for the fellowship: Contact Emelee Volden before applying to the program. Please include name, email, phone, student ID number, mailing address, CCS program type and location, dates of program, academic major, and graduation date.
