Description

Child Family Health International (CFHI) provides service-learning opportunities to students in health care professions. The organization places students mainly in underserved communities where they are able to learn about the health needs facing the community and develop cultural competency and clinical skills. Programs include housing.

Internship Placements

Several program options are available, including but not limited to:

  • Women's Reproductive Health in Mexico
  • Amazon Community Medicine in Ecuador
  • Biomedical Research in Nicaragua
  • HIV/AIDS and Healthcare in Durban, South Africa
  • Pediatric Health in La Paz, Bolivia
  • Rural/urban Himalayan Rotation, India
  • Introduction to Traditional Medicine, India
