Newcomers

The Education Abroad Newcomers is a national initiative to connect new Education Abroad professionals to others in the field. "Newcomer" is defined as people who are new (0-8 years) to international education, however anyone who identifies as a newcomer is welcome. This is not a group designed to help recent graduates break into the field but rather a group to help those already in the field grow into future leaders.

Education Abroad Mid-Career Initiative

Upper Midwest Education Abroad Professionals (UMEAP)
UMEAP is comprised of study abroad professional from local colleges and universities. It meets on a monthly basis to discuss current international education issues and share ideas and expertise. UMEAP meetings offer networking opportunities for professionals of or newcomers to the field. Contact Heidi Soneson to be added to the listserv that announces meeting times and locations.
