2006-2007
Senior Survey
In fall 2006, the undergraduate survey of study abroad curriculum integration was again administered to seniors on all 4 campuses of the University of Minnesota. 1,137 seniors took the survey. Results are available for the entire University, and by each campus; Crookston, Duluth, Morris, and Twin Cities. Results are also available by ethnicity, and for the undergraduate colleges and programs listed below.

Faculty and Academic Advisers Survey
In March 2005 the University of Minnesota surveyed
faculty and staff participants and non-participants from the Crookston,
Duluth, Morris and Twin Cities campuses as part of the study abroad
curriculum integration initiative that aims to increase study abroad
enrollments. There were 374 faculty and staff who responded to the
spring 2005 survey, out of 1,156 faculty and academic advisers surveyed
(32% response rate). Results are available in one report
addressing responses by both participants in study abroad curriculum
integration and non-participants.
2003-2004
Senior Survey
In fall 2003, the undergraduate survey of study
abroad curriculum integration again was administered to seniors
on all 4 campuses of the University of Minnesota. 800 seniors took
the survey. An executive summary of the results is available in

Sophomore Survey
In fall 2003, the undergraduate survey of study
abroad curriculum integration again was administered to sophomores
on all 4 campuses of the University of Minnesota. 920 sophomores
took the survey. An executive summary of the results is available
in the April
2004 report, Evaluation of Initiative.
2002-2003
Senior Survey of Study Abroad Fall 2002
In Fall 2002, the undergraduate survey was
administered to seniors on all four campuses of the University of
Minnesota. Over 920 Seniors took the survey. The instrument and

Sophomore Survey of Study Abroad
March 2003
In March 2003, the undergraduate survey was
again administered to sophomores on all 4 campuses of the University
of Minnesota. Seven hundred and eighty-one sophomores took the survey.
Results were compared with the data collected in 2002 on the first
cohort of sophomores who took the survey.

Faculty & Adviser Survey of Study
Abroad 2002–03
The study abroad survey was again administered
to faculty and academic advisers who are participating in study
abroad curriculum integration. Seventy-one faculty and advisers
completed the survey. This survey will be administered to the participants
in winter 2004. Results will be compared across the 3 years.
Faculty and Advisers Workshops
During Year 2 of the Bush Foundation grant
(2002-03), numerous workshops and retreats happened with faculty
and academic advisers involved in the project. Evaluations were
taken for each of the events and have been summarized.
2001-2002
Sophomore Survey of Study
Abroad:
Pilot Project 2001–02
In Spring 2002, the undergraduate survey was
administered to sophomores on all 4 campuses of the University of
Minnesota. Four hundred and seventy three students took the survey.
The results are available below.
Faculty & Adviser Survey of Study Abroad
2001–02
224 academic advisers and faculty participating
in grant-sponsored events took baseline surveys. Results are posted
below. All baseline data have now been collected.

Random Faculty Surveys
During the course of the Bush Foundation grant
project, faculty who have not participated in the project have been
asked to respond to the faculty survey of study abroad. These data
will act as a control group for the project’s progress.
